1. Introduction

Welcome to My Lost Item, operated by Solid Digital Nordic AB AB. By scanning our QR codes or using our chat service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to use this Service.

3. The Service

The Service allows anonymous communication between a QR code owner and a finder.

  • "As Is": The Service is provided without guarantees that lost items will be found.

  • Anonymity: Emails are masked, but sharing personal info in the chat text is at your own risk.

4. User Conduct

You must not use the Service for harassment, spam, illegal content, or hate speech. We reserve the right to terminate users who violate this.

5. Account Termination and QR Code Validity

You may delete your account via settings.

  • Effect: Deleting your account renders your physical QR code(s) permanently inactive.

  • Scans: Anyone scanning a deleted code will see: "The QR code is not valid in our system."

  • Irreversible: Deleted accounts and chat history cannot be restored.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Swedish law, Solid Digital Nordic AB is not liable for:

  • Physical Product Issues: Wear and tear or damage to the QR code sticker.

  • Lost Items: Failure to recover items.

  • Data Loss: Loss or corruption of data/chat history due to technical failures or hosting issues.

  • Indirect Damages: Consequential damages arising from the use of the Service.

7. Force Majeure

Solid Digital Nordic AB shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to fires, natural disasters, war, strikes, power outages, or failure of third-party hosting/internet services.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Disputes shall be settled by Swedish courts (Malmö District Court).
